''After suffering years of back pain, in February 2009 I discovered that I had prolapsed discs in my lower spine. Feeling very frightened, in extreme pain, and almost immobile, I was referred to Brett. He was methodical in his initial assessment of my condition and thankfully was quick to identify the potential danger of my symptoms. An MRI scan later diagnosed a dangerous compression of the nerves close to my spinal chord. This resulted in emergency surgery and the removal of parts of 3 disks.
Brett has been integral to my recovery. Developing a personalised 3 month post-surgery physiotherapy and chiropractic programme, he was always supportive, encouraging and patient on the long road to recovery, even at my lowest points. When I felt exhausted, frustrated, and wanted to give up, Brett would always manage to motivate and humour me. He undoubtedly has the Patience of a saint!
Seven months on, I am on the way to a full recovery. After finishing my treatment, I continue to follow his advice in a weekly exercise programme. With a condition that could have resulted in severe and life-altering consequences, I owe Brett a lot!''
